The circle is closed. In 1891, Emil Bergstrand roasted the very first coffee for Bergstrand's coffee roastery. 127 years later, his namesake and great-great-grandson hits the mark with this hit. The coffee has its base in beans from Peru, they have been given an explosion of acidity from Ethiopia and are rounded off with pleasant aromas from Indonesia. Our own wonder roaster Emil Myrén has learned the profession from scratch, first on the plantation Finca La Morena in Guatemala and then side by side with roast master uncle Thomas at our roastery on Ringön. The result is a 10-0 win in the form of a balanced explosion where the orange tones take a turn with the fig aromas so the acidity hangs all the way up the palate. The roast master himself prefers it as a double espresso but reliable sources say that it goes just as well as a cappuccino or latte.
